Sephora Beauty Class

Did you know that sephora offers free makeup class for all members. It’s one of the best kept secrets, which I recently found out. The moment I read about the classes on some online post, I immediately checked all the Sephora website to see if any of the stores around me offer these classes. And the Sephora in Park Royal, West Vancouver is the only one around Vancouver that offers these amazing classes. It is a must try. Look up the stores near you at  sephora.com to find what events they have coming up. And make sure you sign up for the class you want to attend. They have everything from skincare, contouring and highlighting to smokey eye.

The class is an hour and a half long and usually takes place either before store opens or at a time when the store would not be busy. The class at Park Royal takes places on a Saturday morning 9:30-11am.

The classes are relatively small, with usually 10-5 registered participants(from what I have heard). There are tonnes of products to try and the instructors are very knowledgeable. I never feel pressured to buy products at the end of the class, on the contrary, there is a goodie bag with samples for each of the participants.

I have attended a total of three of these class Skin Care Basics, Contour and Highlighting and Smokey Eyes.

During the Skin Care basic’s class only 3 people, including me had registered. Out of which I was the only one that showed up. Which meant an hour and a half of a very personalized class. The girl taking the class didn’t rush me or cancel the class even though I was the only one there. I had an amazing experience. Learnt so many amazing tips suitable for my skin.

Smokey Eye Class and the Highlight and Contouring class were conducted by their senior makeup artist and a junior make up artist. The senior artist demonstrates each step on the junior artist and then gives the participants time to try the steps on themselves before she moves ahead. For both these classes, there were only two participants even though more had signed up. But I wouldn’t complain. I got to attend three very personalized classes.

If you are in Vancouver and would like to sigh up for a class, then sephora has one coming up on 29 August (click here).

Also If you want me to share what I learned during each of the three classes, let me know in the comments and I can do separate posts about all three of the classes.

A big shout out to Sephora, Park Royal for hosting these classes and a special thanks to the wonderful ladies for hosting them.

This post is not sponsored. All pictures were clicked by me.

Thanks for reading and don’t forget to follow my blog and give it a thumbs up 🙂

There isn’t any certificate or other verification. It’s more like a fun relaxed and free class where you learn some useful tricks to do your own makeup
